Apple Standard EULA and supplementary product terms

JOTTA is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). The product terms below supplement that agreement with information about JOTTA; they do not replace it or establish a custom EULA.

These supplementary terms do not limit rights under Apple’s Standard EULA, applicable law or the terms of an existing purchase.
1. JOTTA Service
JOTTA helps users record expenses, review spending, plan future expenses, manage budgets, use multiple currencies, and organize shared expenses.
Some features are available for free. Additional features may require JOTTA Pro.
2. No Financial Advice
JOTTA is provided as a personal organization and expense tracking tool.
JOTTA does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
Budget methods, including 50/30/20, are optional planning tools and should not be considered professional financial advice.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for the information you enter into JOTTA.
You are also responsible for reviewing expenses, budget values, currency conversions, shared expense allocations, and settlement information before relying on them.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
JOTTA Pro Monthly and Yearly are auto-renewable subscriptions, billed for one month and one year respectively. The purchase screen displays the localized price, including the full annual amount for Yearly. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through Apple’s subscription settings. JOTTA Pro Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase, not an auto-renewable subscription.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and payment management are governed by Apple’s applicable terms and policies.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.
Eligible purchases may be restored through JOTTA.
5. Free and Pro Features
JOTTA may offer both Free and Pro functionality.
Available features, limits, pricing, and subscription options may change over time.
Any changes will apply according to applicable App Store rules and purchase terms.
6. Exchange Rates
Currency conversion information may be provided using external exchange-rate services.
Exchange rates may be delayed, unavailable, or different from rates used by banks, card providers, or financial institutions.
JOTTA does not guarantee that exchange-rate information is exact or suitable for financial settlement.
7. Shared Expenses
Shared Spaces, split calculations, balances, and settlements are provided as organizational tools.
Users are responsible for confirming amounts and resolving payments between participants.
JOTTA is not a payment service and does not transfer money between users.
8. Availability
We aim to keep JOTTA available and reliable, but uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
Features may be changed, improved, suspended, or discontinued when necessary.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Area13 Studio is not responsible for losses resulting from incorrect entries, user decisions, unavailable services, exchange-rate differences, device issues, or reliance on information displayed by JOTTA.
10. Intellectual Property
JOTTA, its design, branding, software, and original content are owned by or licensed to Area13 Studio.
You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit JOTTA except where permitted by applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use when JOTTA changes.
