Chromora Terms of Service
Last updated: August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Chromora and other digital software products offered under the Area13 Studio brand that link to these Terms.
By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using a product covered by these Terms, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Area13 Studio
Area13 Studio is an independent digital product brand developing software products such as browser extensions, productivity and creative tools, mobile applications, lifestyle applications, SaaS products, and games.
Chromora is a color intelligence browser extension designed to help users analyze webpage colors, extract palettes, review color information, explore mood and trend insights, and use related export features.
2. License and Permitted Use
When you purchase or access an Area13 Studio product, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the software according to the applicable plan or license.
You may not:
Copy, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially reproduce the software.
Attempt to bypass licensing, subscription limits, usage limits, or security measures.
Reverse engineer or modify the software except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
Use the software for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.
Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the software.
3. Accounts and Access
Some products may work without an account, while others may require an account, subscription, license key, or other form of authentication.
You are responsible for keeping any credentials or license information associated with your access secure.
4. Plans, Pricing and Subscriptions
Area13 Studio products may offer free functionality, free trials, one-time purchases, paid subscriptions, or multiple subscription tiers.
Available features, usage limits, prices, billing periods, and trial conditions are displayed before purchase and may vary by product or plan.
The pricing and terms displayed at checkout at the time of purchase apply to that transaction.
5. Payments
Payments for products sold through Lemon Squeezy are processed through Lemon Squeezy.
Area13 Studio does not directly collect or store complete payment-card information.
Applicable taxes, payment processing, receipts, refunds, and other transaction-related matters may also be handled through Lemon Squeezy according to its platform rules.
6. Free Trials
Chromora may provide a limited free trial so users can evaluate selected features before purchasing a paid subscription.
Chromora's current free trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription and does not require payment information to begin.
A paid subscription begins only when the user actively chooses a paid plan and completes the applicable checkout process.
Trial duration, feature limits, and other conditions may be displayed within the product and may change for future offerings.
7. Subscription Cancellation
Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled through the available subscription-management or customer-portal options.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals.
Unless otherwise stated or required by law, access to paid features normally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period.
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund for a payment that has already been processed.
8. Refunds
Refund requests are handled according to the Area13 Studio Refund Policy and applicable consumer-protection laws.
Please review the Refund Policy before making a purchase.
9. Intellectual Property
Area13 Studio products, including their software, branding, interfaces, graphics, documentation, designs, features, and original content, are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing or subscribing to a product grants permission to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.
10. Third-Party Services
Area13 Studio products may interact with independent third-party services such as web browsers, operating systems, payment processors, websites, APIs, or other platforms.
Area13 Studio is not responsible for outages, changes, policies, security incidents, or actions caused by independent third-party services.
11. Product Updates and Availability
Products may be updated, improved, modified, limited, or discontinued where reasonably necessary for development, compatibility, security, legal compliance, or technical reasons.
We aim to provide reliable software but cannot guarantee that every feature will operate without interruption or error at all times.
12. Chromora Color Information
Chromora provides software-generated color analysis and reference information.
Color matches, mood insights, trend information, accessibility suggestions, and similar outputs should be treated as informational tools rather than guaranteed professional or manufacturing specifications.
Any “Pantone-ish” or similar color reference shown by Chromora is an approximate reference and is not an official Pantone certification or guaranteed production color match.
13. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Area13 Studio products are provided on an “as available” basis.
The software is not intended to replace professional legal, financial, medical, engineering, manufacturing, or other regulated professional advice.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Area13 Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses resulting from the use of or inability to use a product.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Suspension or Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where a user materially violates these Terms, abuses a product, attempts to bypass payment or licensing restrictions, or uses the software unlawfully.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as our products, business practices, or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page together with the updated revision date.
